It does not use the confirmation of causality to answer “why”; the era of big data will be a Chinese medicine with richer, more complex and more hierarchical information. Compared with familiar structural monitoring instruments such as B-mode ultrasonography and CT, the traditional Chinese medicine diagnosis and treatment instrument targeting functional monitoring will have far-reaching significance in extending Chinese medicine diagnosis methods, establishing an objective evaluation system for therapeutic efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine, and developing new drugs.

Under the background of this international R&D, the participating experts unanimously appealed that China should seize the new opportunity of big data and the development of modern technologies to gain a foothold.
