The mycelium of the reticular pathogen on the lesion, the white powder is the solid layer of the pathogen. On the sub-solid layer are many burdens and spores, the burden of cylindrical or stick-shaped, the top slightly enlarged, the base slightly pointed, size 65-1353-4 microns, colorless, no diaphragm. At the top of the burden, four small stalks were born, and one small stalk was born. The spores are colorless, transparent, single-celled, obovate, or short rod-shaped, with a size of 8-123-4 microns, which separates in the middle of germination. The pathogenic bacteria wintered on the diseased leaves of the plants, but they could not overwinter in fallen leaves. The pathogen spores spread through the wind. The onset of the disease began in late March in the Nanjing area, which occurred in April-June and September-October. The incubation period and spore formation period are longer. Under suitable temperature conditions, the incubation period is 10-23 days and the sporulation period is about 2 months. There are multiple infections. Warm (22-27 °C), high humidity, foggy, low sunshine, poor ventilation, and thick plants are susceptible to disease.
Control methods: When introducing Camellia sinensis seedlings, attention should be paid to inspection, and do not bring this disease into it. Planting should not be too dense, pay attention to ventilation and light transmission, so that it is not conducive to the occurrence of diseases. In the event of disease, spray 75% chlorothalonil wettable powder 600 times, or 70% thiophanate-methyl wettable powder 1000 times, or 1:0.5: 160 Bordeaux mixture.
