Sows do not have estrus! Eight ways for you to worry!

First, improve feeding

1. For sows with excessive weight loss at the time of weaning, the amount of green feed and concentrate feed can be appropriately increased to allow the rapid return of sensation and promote estrus.

2. Since the sows are over-fat during weaning, the concentrates should be properly reduced, green and coarse materials should be increased, and sports should be strengthened to reduce the sensation and promote estrus.

3. Sows that are moderate in sensation and not in heat for a long period of time should promptly ask the veterinarian to check whether they have genital diseases and treat and eliminate them according to their condition;

4. For those sows that are ready to breed, it is necessary to appropriately increase the time for outside exercise and lighting. The pig house should have winter insulation and summer heatstroke protection facilities.

Second, replace the pigsty

The non-estrus sows are bred in the same circle as the estrus sow, which has the effect of promoting ovulation in sows. This method is best suited to sows that were originally bred in a single circle.

Third, enhance sports

Implementing grazing and exercising can, to a certain extent, promote the regulation of the somatic body's metabolism and the nervous and endocrine systems. In general, sows with normal nymphs but no estrus have obvious effects through exercise.

Fourth, early weaning

In production, early weaning can allow sows to develop normal estrus approximately one week after weaning, allowing early mating of sows and shortening the reproductive cycle.

Fifth, the same period of estrus

Weaning of a group of sows at the same time, resulting in natural estrus at the same time; or so that a group of sows in the same period after weaning, at the same time injection of pregnant hormones, chorionic gonadotropin and hormone hormones aphrodisiac.

Six, induce estrus

In order to induce the sow to secrete follicles of the pituitary gland, sow the estrus's sow out of the boar and let the boar chase the estrus-free sow, or the male and female sows, and let the boar's heterosexual stimulation stimulate the nerve reflex. Hormones cause sows to ovulate.

Seven, adjust nutrition

Adding tocopherol-rich (Vitamin E) feeds, from a nutritional point of view, feeding a feed that stimulates the estrus of the sow, can have good results. When the sows were weaned 3 days after the weaning, after the breasts collapsed, the sow feed was fed to the nursing sow, which was fed with 15% rice bran (ie, oil sorghum, fine sorghum). The rice bran contains 16% oil, 0.74% lysine, and 65 mg tocopherol (ie, vitamin E) per kilogram of rice bran, which has the effect of stimulating fertility.

Eight, massage the breast

Massage the sow's breast to stimulate the development of the mammary gland, promote the secretion of luteinizing hormone, stimulate the sexual activity of the sow, promote estrus and ovulation. After feeding each morning, wait until the sow is lying on the side, and massage the breast repeatedly with the entire palm of the hand for 10 minutes. When the sow has a symbol of estrus, the fingers are bent into a ball shape. The tip of the finger is used to massage the mammary glands deep in the skin, and circular motion is performed around the nipple for a deep massage for 5 minutes to stimulate the estrus as soon as possible.

Food Additives

Food additives are compounds or natural substances added to food for the purpose of improving the color, aroma, and taste of food, as well as for the needs of anti-corrosion and processing technology. At present, there are 23 categories of food additives, with more than 2,000 varieties, including acidity regulators, anticaking agents, defoamers, antioxidants, bleaching agents, leavening agents, coloring agents, color retention agents, enzyme preparations, and flavor enhancers, nutritional fortifiers, preservatives, Sweeteners, thickeners, spices, etc.
