Recently, researchers from the Department of Electrophysiology of the Maluan County Chinese Medicine Hospital in Guoluo, Qinghai Province published a paper to explore the application of changing position in cardiac ultrasound examination. Studies have shown that changing the position can clearly show the structure of the heart, the image is clear, the measurement is accurate, and it is easy for the doctor to operate, which plays an important role in improving the diagnosis of heart disease. The article was published in the 2014 issue of Qinghai Medicine Magazine.
For the 56 outpatients with physical examination, the left anteroposterior diameter of the left atrium was measured by the left lateral position and the right lateral position. The left and right atrial diameters and the upper and lower diameters of the left ventricle were measured in the apical four-chamber view. The pair position t test was used to compare the position measurement values.
Comparing the two body position measurements of the same subject, the left atrial anteroposterior diameter, the upper and lower diameter and the volume of the traditional lying position were significantly higher than the right position (P<0.01), and the difference between the left and right diameter measurements of the two positions was not statistically significant.
