Pear tree autumn flower bud branch replacement technology

Pear-tree high-stem-changing heads were mostly carried out before the spring sprouting, but the grafting time was short in this period, the budding germination was late, and there was no yield in 1-2 years. From 2000 onwards, we used the method of grafting buds in the autumn to update the anvils in the spring of the year to update the old varieties of pears. This method has the advantages of long grafting time, early germination, and early results. We tested and promoted this technique in the orchard of Liangshan Township and obtained grafting in the fall of the first year. The results of flowering the following year and restoring the canopy yielded 3,200 kilograms of high-quality pears per 667 square meters.
Grafting time is suitable in Liangshan area, generally from early August to late September. The grafting time is too early, the degree of lignification of the scion is low, the flower buds are not abundant, and the secondary flower is easy to open. If it is too late, the interface is difficult to heal and the survival rate is reduced. Scion selection of fruit trees in the upper part of the robust and full of buds in the long flowers, diameter 0.5-1.0 cm, length 10-20 cm, with the use of mining. For long-distance transportation, precautions should be taken to adopt insulation measures. Grafting on sunny days, the survival rate is over 95%.
Grafting site canopy branches up and down about every 30 centimeters to arrange a branch, select 1-3 years old branches, grafted at the base of the smooth place. The position of the scion should be controlled according to the position of the branch. Generally, the upright branch is attached to the outside of the base so that it is inclined outward. Oblique branches are attached to the anticlines to facilitate opening angles. Horizontal branches and hanging branches are connected to the upper oblique side to enhance the growth of the scion. Try to make the scion distributed evenly within the crown to facilitate three-dimensional results.
Grafting method than the clavicle slightly thicker 1-3 years raw shoots using abdominal cut. First use a sharp knife to cut the lower end of the scion into a cut-off knife shape. The length of the cut surface is about 2 cm. Then use a branch to cut the beveled part of the grafting area and reach deep into the pith. Insert the scion blade inward into the incision so that the spike formation layer is aligned (only one side can be aligned) and then tightly packed with plastic strips. For the perennial branches light legs can be used subcutaneous abdominal joints, in the lower part of the scion beveled a single knife, cut noodles 2-3 cm long, the opposite cut 1 cm epidermis, the scion cut surface inward insertion of the graft site T-shaped incision, with plastic strips Tightly bound. The number of scions should be reasonably determined according to the size of the tree crown, usually 3-5 years old trees connected to 20-50 branches, more than 10 years old trees connected to 100-150 branches.
After the management, the pre-emergence film and anvil of Hunchun pear were managed. The anvil was cut 1-2 cm above the interface, and the branches that were not grafted were completely removed to facilitate flower bud budding, flowering and growth. Sparse fruit 20-30 days after flowering, leaving 1-3 fruit per flower branch. In large winds, sticks must be set up to prevent new heads from breaking off. Generally, the sticks will be tied when the scion length reaches 25-30 centimeters. In the growing season, the buds on the rootstock must be promptly removed, and the new shoots of the fruit and trees should be thinned, picked up, and taken to the branches so that the new shoots can be opened and distributed evenly. Pay attention to routine management such as fertilization, watering, bagging, and spraying throughout the year.
Precautions The pear-tree buds should be replaced at one time in order to improve the survival rate of grafting and ensure the rapid sprouting and growth of the grafts. Do not touch the fruit when grafting, damage the leaves, so as not to affect the output of the year. Individuals who did not receive livelihoods can patch shoot buds near the interface before sprouting in the spring, or leave a bud and graft flower buds in autumn.
