Cause of the accident

4. The rubber seal ring and the rotor cap rubber seal ring in the centrifuge cap are improperly used and improperly disinfected, such as long-term internal cracking and high-temperature disinfection (using dry box baking), etc., aging cracking, loss of sealing effect, etc. Overflow at high speeds, allowing the rotor to operate in an unbalanced state.
5. Scope and disinfection methods, using chemical solvents and improper disinfectant treatment, causing the centrifuge tube to swell and rupture during operation and cause an accident.
6. Due to carelessness in the work, the rotor cover is not tightened or the rotor cover and the rotor handle are interchanged, causing the screw to not match. When the machine is running, the rotor cover is thrown and a serious shaft breakage occurs.
7. The centrifuge tube is aged or the high-speed centrifuge centrifuge tube is used on the ultracentrifuge to break the centrifuge tube during operation, and the sample liquid overflows to cause an imbalance and bend the shaft.

Treatment
When a centrifuge tube breaks, it should:
1. Turn off the power and keep the centrifuge lid closed for 30 minutes. If the rupture occurs after the centrifuge has stopped running, immediately close the cover for 30 minutes.
2. When cleaning, put a pair of thick rubber gloves on the outside of the disposable gloves, and use the tweezers or the cotton tweezers to take the pieces. All the broken test tubes, crushing barrels and casings should be placed in the sharp box, according to the waste disposal regulations. Process it. Unbroken covered tubes disinfect the surface of contaminated containers with chlorine-containing disinfectant.
3. The inner surface of the centrifuge can be wiped twice with a chlorine-containing disinfectant or 75% alcohol with an effective chlorine concentration of 0.5%, then wiped with water and dried.

Precaution
Once the centrifuge fails, the aerosol may leak into the open environment, causing potential contamination.
