Potassium Absorption of Rice

Potassium uptake is higher than nitrogen, indicating that rice needs more potassium, but its absorption of potassium is almost complete before rice heading and flowering, and seedlings have low absorption of potassium. The peak of potassium absorption is during the period from tillering to the jointing stage, and the potassium content in stems and leaves remains above 2%. In the booting stage, the potassium content in stems and leaves is less than 1.2%, and the number of spikelets will be significantly reduced. The potassium in the stems and leaves from the earing stage to the harvesting stage is not concentrated to the grains like nitrogen and phosphorus.
