After the greenhouse nurses snow to avoid strong light

As the saying goes, "Swiss Snow is a good year," but if there is no time to strengthen field management after the snowfall, the vegetable seedlings in the greenhouse will face a large number of deaths. The harvest in the coming year will be empty talk. Recently, after experiencing heavy snowfall, the nursery management of sheds has become particularly important. Experts have advised that we must avoid direct sunlight, causing greenhouse temperature to rise rapidly and cause seedlings to dehydrate and die.

Covering the shade net snow clouds thicker, slow cooling of the ground, if a heap of snow on the greenhouse film, but also with insulation, like a layer of grass cover. However, after the snow is fine, the greenhouse must be covered with shade nets to prevent the leaves from receiving increased light. The plants will transpire in large quantities and cause water to wilt and eventually lead to plant death. After a certain period of time, if there is no abnormal reaction of the blade, the shade net will be removed again.

Keep warm after snow at night and pay attention to the night insulation of the shed. After the snow is clear, the night sky is covered with no clouds, and a large amount of heat radiation from the ground will lead to rapid cooling. The nighttime temperature will be around 0°C, which may cause freezing damage to the greenhouse seedlings. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen the airtightness of greenhouses. If necessary, increase the number of layers covering the film, reduce heat loss, and even warm it to disperse cold air.

It is worth noting that the ditch around the greenhouse ensures that no water will accumulate after the snowfall. Fertilizer can also be applied by spraying with 0.2% potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution one or two times on the foliage to enhance the cold resistance of the seedlings.
