2. How to make hay
(1) Field drying method

(2) Straw drying method
This method is often used in wet areas or in rainy seasons. The grass that is aired on the shelves must be stacked in a conical shape or a ridge shape. It must be piled up to be fluffy. The thickness should not exceed 80 cm, and the circulation of air should be maintained. The outer layer should be flat and maintain a certain degree of inclination.
(3) Artificial drying method
Through artificial heat sources, the drying process is completed with full control of dehydration of pasture. Commonly used normal-temperature blast drying method, namely the construction of a hay shed, the use of blowers to dry grass; low-temperature drying method, that is, build the grass drying room, and set the air preheating pan and blower to dry the forage; high-temperature rapid drying method, After the grass is chopped, it is dried using a hay dryer.
(b) Storage of hay
Indoor stacking: stacking hay and roof should be kept at a certain distance, is conducive to ventilation and heat dissipation.
Stacking in the open air: Choose a high and flat dry place. The bottom should be 30-50 cm above the ground. When stacking, try to compress it tightly and seal it to prevent rain.
