Custody of fertilizers should be "six defenses": (1) Prevent mixing. Fertilizers are mixed together and it is easy to degrade physical and chemical properties. If superphosphate is exposed to ammonium nitrate, it will increase hygroscopicity and cause inconvenience of application. (2) The anti-marker name is untrue. (3) Anti-break bag packaging. If the nitrate nitrogen fertilizer has strong hygroscopicity, it will become slurries or even liquids after absorbing water and should be sealed and stored. (4) Fire prevention. In particular, ammonium nitrate, potassium nitrate, and other nitrate fertilizers will decompose under high temperature (200°C) and will burn or explode in the event of an open flame. (5) Anti-corrosion. Superphosphate contains free acid, and ammonium bicarbonate is alkaline. This kind of fertilizer should not be in contact with metal containers or scales to avoid corrosion. (6) Anti-fertilizer mixed with seeds and food. In particular, the volatilization of ammonium bicarbonate, ammonia, and seeds mixed will affect germination and should be fully noted.
